Monica Portis, founder and owner of AADC, has dedicated over two decades to geriatric care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse with extensive experience in long-term care facilities, Monica has built a career focused on understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by aging adults and their families. Her journey began as a nursing assistant, where she developed a deep compassion for seniors and individuals with disabilities.Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive, personalized care for this population, Monica pursued additional qualifications to enhance her expertise. She holds certifications in Business Development and Entrepreneurship, Human Resources Management, and Digital Marketing, all earned from Colorado Technical University between 2022 and 2024. These credentials complement her healthcare experience, equipping her with the skills to lead AADC with vision and innovation.Monica’s leadership is guided by her passion for creating a safe, enriching environment where aging adults can live with dignity and independence. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in the strong, multidisciplinary team she has assembled, ensuring AADC delivers high-quality care. Through her dedication and expertise, Monica has positioned AADC as a vital resource for families in Georgia seeking compassionate and reliable adult day services.
